Enjoy an opportunity to get a close-up look at an array of rare and historically significant aircraft from Kermit Weeks’s collection in the attraction’s hangars. Fantasy of Flight features the largest private aircraft collection in the world. Fun with Flight is one of Fantasy of Flight's newest attractions for families. Visitors young and old delight in the “fun”damentals of flight in this center with interactive activities ranging from learning the basics of paper airplanes to experiencing a state-of-the-art hang-glide simulator.

Fantasy of Flight celebrates America’s first female military pilots with a multi-media tribute to the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) of World War II at the “WASP – A Passionate Pursuit” exhibit. Visitors to Fantasy of Flight get up-close to more than 40 rare aircraft from Kermit Weeks’s collection.

Visitors can peek inside the Wood Shop as they browse the South Hangar to see where Restoration Specialists disassemble, restore and rebuild wooden aircraft. The attraction also offers a guided tour of the Wood Shop on which visitors can learn more details about current projects on display at the working shop. The attraction offers an Aerial Demonstration of the Day (weather permitting). Visitors have the unique opportunity to see rare aircraft in flight and speak with the pilot each afternoon. This photo features Fantasy of Flight owner and creator in his P-51C Mustang, ‘INA: The Macon Belle,’ just one example of the aircraft that can be seen in flight during this popular activity.

Tram tours offer visitors a guided journey of Fantasy of Flight’s otherwise restricted areas. The tour includes stops in the Backlot, Runways and Maintenance Hangar with many opportunities to get a feel for the expertise and craftsmanship required to restore and maintain the collection.
