“Reality-Show” Featuring Fantasy of Flight, Central Florida’s Premier Aviation Attraction, to Air on PGTV, LGN Throughout July
“The Wizard of Orlampa, The Yellow Brick Road” Starring Founder and Creator Kermit Weeks Makes Television Premier on Polk Government TV And Lakeland Government News
West Central Florida residents are invited to watch as dreams take flight in Fantasy of Flight’s inspirational “The Wizard of Orlampa, The Yellow Brick Road” airing on PGTV and LGN throughout July.
The reality show-style program shows an inside look at the life of Kermit Weeks, an aviator, vintage aircraft collector, theme park creator and visionary business man, as he pursues and lives his dream, which was to create a place where others can discover theirs. Dubbed the “Mayor of Orlampa,” by an Orlando Sentinel reporter, (Orlampa was coined and trademarked by Weeks and describes the tourism corridor between Orlando and Tampa). Weeks says, “They call me the Mayor because I created it, but I’m striving to become a Wizard!”
The show takes viewers for a day (or days) in the life of Central Florida’s premier aviation attraction and Kermit Weeks’ impressive collection of rare and vintage aircraft, the largest private collection in the world. Weeks, a former world aerobatics champion and airplane designer, shares his passion for aviation as well as his vision for the future of the attraction, using the profound metaphor of pushing boundaries and reaching beyond human limits to inspire all who watch.

“The Wizard of Orlampa,” which is normally sold in DVD-format online at www.fantasyofflight.com/store and in the Fantasy of Flight store for $14.95, will air numerous times on both cable-access stations throughout the month:
