Radio Control Aircraft

Special aerobatic shows featuring the finest giant scale model replica aircraft in the world, will take place throughout each day coordinated by Bob's Hobby Center. Guests of all ages will marvel as these remote control aircraft perform formation flying, precision aerobatics and aerial combat maneuvers will be coordinated by internationally award-winning R/C pilot Steve Thomas. Powered Paragliders

Colorful canopies will fill the sky when our team of powered paragliders take to the air. Even though the paragliders are small the spectacle they put on is impressive. They are the world's smallest, most personal aircraft. The pilots who fly these "pocket planes" wear the small two-stroke motor on their back and a parachute-like wing over their head.


Hang Gliders

New to the skies at this year's Roar n' Soar event will be hang gliding! Expert hang glider pilots will performing aerial demonstrations throughout the weekend including Neal Goss, 89, who holds a Guinness World Records as the oldest living hang glider pilot.
