Drivers compete for the fastest time while they race the clock maneuvering through a slalom course on the hangar tarmac. This sanctioned race offers prime spectator viewing and comes to Roar n' Soar courtesy of The Jaguar Club of Florida and Sun Coast Jaguar Clubs. PLUS, the car show features vintage classic cars by auto icons Jaguar, Austin-Healey, Ferrari, BMW, and Porsche including some of the most unique and exotic automobiles ever made!
It was more than 20 years ago with the late Dale Earnhardt performed the legendary "pass in the grass" maneuver during the 1987 NASCAR All-Star race at Lowe's Motor Speedway. On Nov. 13 and 14, we displayed the original No. 3 Wrangler Chevrolet Dale Earnhardt was driving during that famous race as it was among the standout vehicles at the 4th Annual Roar n' Soar.
Today, the historic stock car is owned by Bill Tower, a longtime General Motors engineer who now lives in Plant City, Florida. The car appeared all day on both Saturday and Sunday as part of the 4th Annual Roar n' Soar. Special thanks to Bill Tower for showcasing this prized vehicle.
