{"id":3331,"date":"2012-01-25T15:53:46","date_gmt":"2012-01-25T15:53:46","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=3331"},"modified":"2018-11-08T13:24:47","modified_gmt":"2018-11-08T18:24:47","slug":"nbaa-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fantasyofflight.com\/collection\/kermit-weeks\/nbaa-2011\/","title":{"rendered":"NBAA 2011!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently, I attended the National Business Aircraft Association convention in Las Vegas. \u00a0We were having a Board meeting of the Lindberg Foundation and I got the opportunity to visit with new and old friends and get a chance to check out the latest business jets and products. \u00a0I had supported the NBAA cause in the past by donating a tour of Fantasy of Flight and flight in a cool airplane for one of their charity auctions.<\/p>\n<p>While there, we presented Jeppesen\u00a0CEO Mark Van Tine an award for his company joining the Lindbergh Foundation\u00a0<em>Aviation Green Alliance,<\/em> which supports and honors the Aviation Industry for promoting environmental challenges within their field. \u00a0True to my typical form, no one told me I was supposed to wear a suit and tie!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3333\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 560px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fantasyofflight.com\/collection\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Presentation-to-Jeppessen.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3333     colorbox-3331\" title=\"Presentation to Jeppessen\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fantasyofflight.com\/collection\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Presentation-to-Jeppessen.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"420\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Presentation to Jeppesen<\/p><\/div>\n<p>After checking out the goodies at the Las Vegas Convention Center, I got out to Henderson Airfield to check out the latest hardware. \u00a0While there, I couldn&#8217;t help but check out my Dream Jet &#8211; the Embraer Phenom 300!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3340\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 560px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fantasyofflight.com\/collection\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/My-Dream-Jet1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3340     colorbox-3331\" title=\"My Dream Jet!\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fantasyofflight.com\/collection\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/My-Dream-Jet1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"419\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">My Dream Jet!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Now how cool is that!
